Workshop Week

9th August 2024

At our workshop, craftsmanship isn’t just a job; it’s a passion that drives us every day. Lately, that passion has been tested in the best possible way, as we’ve been immersed in quite a large scale sash window job.

When our client approached us, they had a clear vision in mind. They wanted to breathe new life into their property by replacing the existing windows with traditional sash windows that would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the building but also improve its energy efficiency.

As soon as the plans were finalised, our workshop transformed into a hive of activity. Our skilled team of craftsmen set to work, each member contributing their unique expertise to the project. From the careful selection of high-quality timber to the precise cutting and shaping of the window frames, every step required meticulous attention to detail.

Our joiners have spent countless hours ensuring that each sash window is crafted to perfection. The intricate design of sash windows requires not only traditional woodworking skills but also a deep understanding of how these windows function. Every groove, joint, and panel must be perfectly aligned to ensure smooth operation and durability. This project has been a reminder of why we do what we do. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing a customer’s vision come to life through hard work and dedication. As we prepare to deliver these windows to our client, we’re already looking forward to the next challenge. Whatever it may be, we know that our team is ready to rise to the occasion, just as we have with this project.
